Dr. Thomas has dedicated his life to improving the health and quality of life of his patients. With more than 42 years of experience as a chiropractor and 16 utilizing a Euro-Asian style of chiropractic acupuncture, Dr. Thomas continues to actively pursue extensive medical research while continuing clinical research in his daily practice. His acquired expertise, combined with his interest in incorporating technology and modern chiropractic and chiropractic acupuncture treatments, gives his patients a blend of both traditional chiropractic care and a fresh approach to healing.

Employing the latest technologies to increase mobility and function and reduce pain, his treatment plans are based on correcting the chiropractic subluxation along with a combination of subluxation re-alignment, chiropractic acupuncture and low level laser treatment to promote faster healing and correction of conditions. Dr. Thomas’ use of state of the art electro-meridian imaging computer systems allows him to provide more accurate and faster analysis of patients’ imbalances. Dr. Thomas can perform all treatments with or WITHOUT NEEDLES.


Dr. Thomas holds a Diplomate status in the prestigious International Academy of Medical Acupuncture and holds a certification in both chiropractic and chiropractic acupuncture from the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners. He also holds a Certification for Texas in Chiropractic Acupuncture with studies at Texas Chiropractic College. Dedicated to professional service, he sits on the testing committee of the National Board of Chiropractic Examiners, served as Vice President of the Texas Board of Chiropractic Examiners and is a past Chairman of the Acupuncture Advisory Committee.


He has been honored with the distinction of one of the “Top Doctors of America” by the Independent Consumer Research Council and listed as a “Top Chiropractors of America” in 2008 and 2009.


He has been married to his wife, Nancy for more than 43 years and has a daughter, Heather, a Licensed Master Social Worker. He was reared in Corpus Christi and graduated from W.B. Ray High School, attended Southwest Texas State and Texas Chiropractic College. He served in the U.S. Navy and Marine Corps as a corpsman and dental tech and served a tour in Vietnam. He is an Eagle Scout, holds an Advanced Class Amateur Radio License and enjoys woodworking and kayak fishing.
