(Knees, shoulders, hips, tennis elbow, carpal tunnel syndrome, etc.)
A usual course of care is 8 treatments. Patients should respond in a positive fashion to chiropractic care, chiropractic acupuncture and low level cold laser therapy for these conditions after the fifth treatment. The length of positive effect depends on how long the patient has had the condition. The degree of neglect, that is, the length of time the condition has gone untreated and has become chronic, will determine how long it will take to recover and heal. When the body heals itself through chiropractic and chiropractic acupuncture, it tends to stay healed.
Chiropractic acupuncture normally works well on joint inflammation and arthritis to give better relief than most any other treatment in many cases. It is not a cure-all, but a natural way to relieve pain associated with these conditions.
Chiropractic acupuncture speeds up healing by increasing the blood supply to the affected joint… those that are painful due to a new or old injury, or the arthritis-related aging process.
Many patients have similar pain, from young athletes to those patients over 70. The keys to successful treatment are the length of time since the joint was injured or affected, the age of the patient and how well the patient follows the treatment plan.
